Warrnambool is the ideal base to explore the many attractions of the south-west region. Day trips include the Great Ocean Road, historic Port Fairy, Tower Hill State Game Reserve and the picturesque Grampians.
Close to the park, visit Flagstaff Hill Maritime Museum or enjoy Warrnambool’s safe sandy beaches. Warrnambool is also the home of the Southern Right Whale Nursery. Lake Pertobe Adventure Playground is across the road from our park and is acclaimed as one of Australia’s best recreation areas for young and old.
Other nearby sporting and recreational facilities include mini golf, tennis, beach volley ball, bowling greens and Bocce rink. Surfside is only minutes walk from the city centre where you can shop or relax in one of the many superb cafes, pubs or restaurants.
