Summer 20/21

For cabins

Guests who had cabins booked for this season will be notified by the office with comparable dates.  Due to the extra cleaning required we are unable to run in week blocks from Boxing Day.
Therefore there will be no ballot for the cabins.

For sites

To comply with Victorian Government COVID restrictions we have reduced the number of campsites available and capped the maximum length of stay to one week in the following week blocks:
26/12 to 2/1
3/1 to 10/1
11/1 to 18/1
19/1 to 26/1

The ballot will run from November 18th from 9am until November 20th at 9am. This will be both texted and emailed to guests.
Guests will only be offered one week within the ballot and this will be dependent on your arrival date.

Ballot 1- Guest arriving 12/12 - 29/12
Ballot 2- Guests arriving 30/12 - 6/1
Ballot 3- Guests arriving 7/1 - 15/1
Ballot 4- Guest arriving 16/1 - 25/1

Sites will be allocated using the following process:

  • Sites will be allocated via a random ballot draw as it is not possible for guests to be allocated their regular sites.
  • Only those with pre-existing preferential summer bookings will take part in the ballot.
  • Those eligible for the ballot draw will receive a text message offering them a place in the ballot for a summer site.  Guests will need to respond to the text with “yes”, “no”, or they can opt out.
  • If successful in the ballot, guests will be contacted by the Surfside team with a site number.  Full payment at this time is required to retain the booking.
  • Dates and allocated site numbers cannot be modified or adjusted.
  • Those unsuccessful in obtaining a site through the ballot will be notified by SMS.
  • If an offer of a campsite is declined or other vacancies become available, a supplementary ballot draw will be conducted.
